It explores not only the hatred and hostility that they received in Uganda but also the difficulties of gaining their British visas and the further challenges that awaited many of those who did make it to Britain during the racially charged era of the 1970s.

The Tarpa player forms the core of Warli Art and the Adivasi community. Bhiklya Ladkya Dhinda is one of the last great Tarpa players. He is 85 years old, and can move about like a 40-year old. His energy, optimism and drive is infectious. He is an inspiration to all, and this vignette celebrates him and his art.
