Hello:
 
I grew up in Scotland and, after graduation, went to North America where I enjoyed a successful entrepreneurial career.
 
In 2018, I returned in order to take care of my 98-year-old mother who had developed dementia. She made it to 100 and passed on in August 2020.
 
As I reflect on that period, I have mixed feelings wondering whether or not I could have done some things better.
 
One thing I realized back then was just how awful standard television fare is. It's either boring or distressing - mind-numbing shows masquerading as entertainment or bad news, politics, war, famine, global warming, etc.
 
We passionately believe that an elderly person should be able to sit in their comfortable chair in front of the telly and enjoy upbeat programming that rekindles fond memories of the past.
 
That is what we provide at XLNT WORLD ... and now you know some of the reasons why.
 
I am deeply grateful to those who helped get us to this point (Brian, Campbell, David, Harry, Irene, Marjorie, Mike, Robert, Sarah) and to those who are on the team today (Brian, Cecile, Fiona, Kevin, Rachel, Marek, Peter, Raymond, Robert, Scott & Yola).
